Warranty conditions are valid from the date of delivery for furniture purchased at Karmenn.com in mainland Spain.

The warranty does not apply to products that have been stored or assembled incorrectly, that have been used incorrectly or improperly, that have been altered in any way or even repaired at the customer's request, or that have been cleaned with unsuitable methods or products. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cuts or scratches, or damage caused by knocks or accidents. Neither does it include discolouration due to exposure to the sun or expansion or warping due to constant changes in temperature. The warranties offered by Karmenn with respect to its products are conditioned to their domestic use. 

Karmenn® RESIDENTIAL LIMITED WARRANTY

Plastymed Technical Plastic, Sociedad Limitada (hereinafter referred to as "Karmenn") warrants to the original purchaser that for a period of twenty (20) years (with the exceptions detailed below) of residential use from the date of delivery, under normal and responsible use, Karmenn® furniture shall be free from material defects such as chipping, cracking, peeling, rotting, and structural damage due to insect infestation. The warranty is valid from the date of delivery through our service partners. Warranty valid for products purchased at Karmenn.com in the Spanish mainland, therefore excluding the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla. The original invoice is required as proof of purchase. These warranties do not affect the legal rights of the consumer in the event of non-conformity of the products in the contract.

METAL FITTINGS
It is warranted that metal fasteners such as hinges, handles, locking or fastening systems will not break during two (2) years of residential use. Powder coated or stainless steel finishes are warranted not to deteriorate during two (2) years of residential use provided the home does not reside in a saline environment such as the Mediterranean coast.

CUSHIONS, PILLOWS AND OTHER TEXTILE MATERIAL
Cushions, pillows and other fabric are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship or materials for thirty (30) days from the date of purchase. The fabric of a cushion, pillow or umbrella canopy is warranted not to tear, mildew or fade excessively for one (1) year from the date of purchase.

ELEMENTS OF FIRE
The elements that allow cooking by fire used in Karmenn® outdoor kitchens, including burners, grills, paella pans, woks, etc... as well as ignition systems, electronic components and glass protections, are covered by the Karmenn® warranty for one (1) year from the date of purchase on parts, excluding displacement and labour.

EXCEPTIONS
Karmenn® shall not be liable for any failure, defect or damage resulting from or related to the following exceptions:

Fading, colour change or colour matching: Karmenn® HDPE material is made with UV stabilisers to minimise fading and pigments of the highest quality; however, after exposure to sun and saltpetre, all colours fade slightly. To minimise possible fading: we suggest that you keep the product covered with our bespoke covers, make use of textile material where appropriate, try to minimise direct sunlight when choosing the location of the outdoor kitchen and store the furniture where possible.

Variation in colour or pattern between any new or replacement parts.

The buckling or swelling caused by exposing HDPE to continuous changes in temperature and humidity.

Rust or corrosion of stainless steel or zinc coated steel hardware and fittings in saline atmospheres. 

Rust or corrosion of steel frames and structures.

Assembly or handling of products after they leave our factory, including any lack of performance or inadequate performance in any way by the distributor or assembler. 

Abnormal use of products.

Inappropriate use of products with fire components.

The application of paint, varnish or other coating or chemical not approved by Karmenn® or the application of heat or radiation from an external source such as a barbecue grill, other appliance, fire or reflected sunlight through window panes or doors.

Any lack of compatibility between our products and any other product not manufactured by us that causes damage or failure of our products.

Post-delivery labour, transport or assembly costs

Damage caused by, among other things, the use of incompatible accessories, intentional acts, unreasonable use, misuse, physical abuse, permanent deformation or destruction by humans or animals, vandalism, riot, insurrection or civil disturbance, accidents or corrosive atmospheres (such as those contaminated by acid rain, chemicals or noxious fumes), or any acts of God (such as fires, floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, lightning, ice, etc.), environmental conditions (such as air pollution, mould, mildew, fungus, etc.), stains from foreign substances (such as dirt, grease, oil, etc.) or exposure to normal weathering (defined as exposure to sunlight, weather and atmosphere which may cause any coloured surface to fade, darken, clog or gradually accumulate dirt or stains).


Assembly of fittings, accessory items or defects caused by their assembly


We reserve the right to discontinue or modify any product line or colour without notifying the Buyer. If the original product is not available, we reserve the right to choose to provide replacement material of equal value and quality.


Proper care, use and maintenance of your Karmenn® furniture supports the benefits of this warranty. This warranty is void if there is evidence of misuse or neglect of the furniture. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear of the furniture caused by responsible use over the years.


SERVICE UNDER WARRANTY

For service under this warranty, first contact Karmenn® directly by email at info@plastymed.com or by any of the means we make available through Karmenn.com. 

When submitting a warranty claim, please provide the following documentation:

Karmenn® shall examine the product in order to determine whether there is a lack of conformity of origin, in which case the customer may choose between repair or replacement, unless one of these two options is impossible or disproportionate. In the event of repair, Karmenn shall pay for the cost of repairs to the replaced components, for the work and travel of personnel, and for repairs incurred. This shall not apply when repairs are not authorised by Karmenn. The replaced components shall become the property of Karmenn. In case of replacement, if the product is no longer available for sale at Karmenn, Karmenn shall provide a suitable replacement product, to be determined by Karmenn. If replacement or repair is not possible, the customer may choose a price reduction or termination of the contract. Termination of the contract shall not apply if the lack of conformity is minor.

All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before being returned. Karmenn® will provide a single-use shipping label for those items to be returned under this warranty. Failure to return the product through the means provided by Karmenn® will transfer the responsibility for returning the product to the Buyer at the Buyer's own cost and risk. If the product is not returned within thirty (30) days of the Return Authorization, Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges that may apply. All returns must have the RMA number clearly visible.
